The Light from Within
Published by Through her Eyes of Blue
My migraine journey began at age five. I had pain from when I awoke until I closed my eyes at night. Although the pain was almost unbearable, I had considered myself lucky, as my migraine disease faded away in my thirties. However, my migraine story does not end here. Flash forward, my daughter experienced her first migraine at age 5, and she is now 15. I always thought there was no pain worse than a migraine - I was wrong. Watching your child experience the pain of a migraine every day is excruciating. Since I cannot stop her pain, I will be her voice - today, tomorrow, and always. Look for the sunshine even in the darkest of days, as you are not alone, and there is always hope for a better tomorrow. #Always Forward Mary Lou View all posts by Through her Eyes of Blue
